How story tokens and costs work

What are story tokens?

Story tokens (bt) are the balance you use when barnbok.ai draws pictures for you. You can see your balance and history under Story tokens and top up there when you need to.

A picture that did not turn out the way you pictured it is our mistake. That is why changing a page never costs anything.

Welcome bonus

Once you have confirmed your email address you get a welcome bonus. It covers one complete illustrated book. The exact amount, and any current offers, are on the pricing page.

Subscription and packs

For families who create often there is a monthly subscription with the lowest price per bt, and packs to buy when you need them. See the pricing page.

Re-illustrating the whole book

Re-illustrate the entire book removes every picture and makes new ones. It is included in the price of the book, but the old pictures are replaced, so you are asked to confirm before it starts.

Low balance

Your balance needs to be above 0 bt to start illustrating a new book. If it is not enough, the app tells you and shows you where to top up. Notifications also warn you when your balance is low.

Summary

You pay once per book, and after that changes are free. Start with the welcome bonus and make the book as good as you like.
